Cynthia Mabry is a Corporate & Securities associate in Mayer Brown's Houston office. She graduated from Louisiana State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and is also a proud alumnus of the Ogden Honors College.
Cynthia concentrates her practice on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. She represents both public and private entities, investors, and underwriters in a wide variety of capital markets and finance transactions, including offerings of equity and debt securities. Cynthia also provides ongoing advice to clients regarding general corporate and securities matters, including Exchange Act reporting, stock exchange listing requirements and corporate governance. Cynthia has represented clients in a broad range of industries, including energy companies, chemical companies, biotechnology companies and financial services companies. Cynthia has particular experience with clients engaged in the energy industry, including oil and gas exploration and production, oilfield services and related sectors.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Cynthia worked in the Houston office of another international law firm. She previously worked as a senior associate at a multinational professional services firm in Houston.
Cynthia is a member of Houston Young Lawyers Association, American Bar Association and Chair of the Houston Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel Section. She is Former President of the LSU Alumni Association, Greater Houston Chapter.
