James A. Brown
James Brown, an attorney with Liskow & Lewis in New Orleans, graduated from LSU’s College of Arts and Sciences in 1981 and LSU Law School in 1984. A lover of music, Brown minored in music while attending LSU as an aspiring violinist. Also while at LSU, Brown was an active member of the Honors College, completing a thesis in political science focused on the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
At Liskow & Lewis, Brown heads up the Commercial Litigation Section as well as the Professional Liability Practice Group. He is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and serves as the firm’s Loss Prevention Partner. His practice focuses on complex litigation, including banking and contract disputes, professional liability litigation, and Education law.
