Sally Perry has served as Executive Director of The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) Institute since 1998. Perry led the completion of The NOCCA Institute’s $24 million capital campaign and supervised the construction of NOCCA’s state-of-the-art facility in the historic Bywater and Marigny neighborhoods of New Orleans. Since the opening of the campus in 2000, she has focused The NOCCA Institute on an extensive expansion of programs and services provided to NOCCA’s faculty, staff, students, alumni and the community at large.
Her current and past affiliations include the Louisiana Partnership for the Arts, New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra, Contemporary Arts Center, Superintendent’s Task Force for Arts Education and the LSU School of Music Dean’s Select Committee for Excellence. Sally received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music from Louisiana State University and is a graduate of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute of Greater New Orleans, Inc.
