As part of the Black History Month series, Assistant Professor of Education Dr. Roland Mitchell will lead a group discussion focusing on how different education disciplines provide knowledge to students in the K-12 system and higher education.
This lecture will also explore how race affects the transfer and communication of knowledge in the classroom between educators and their students and the importance of being able to provide efficient service to students from different cultural, ethnic and social backgrounds.
