Dr. John Pardue will be discussing the engineered remediation of marshes contaminated with Deep Horizon crude oil in the first part of the Fall 2010 faculty friends research series. These events give students a great opportunity to meet faculty and benefit from their research. Dr. Pardue is a professor at LSU in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the director of the Louisiana Water Research Institute. Dr. Pardue's findings have been published in a variety of publications including the Journal of Environmental Quality and Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry.
