Students in the Laville Honors House are invited to attend a performance of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie in the Shaver Theater. Residents may sign up for tickets at the front desk in the main lobby of Laville.

Set in the 1930s, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie follows the controversial and charismatic Jean Brodie as she teaches, molds and manipulates young girls at the elite Marcia Blaine School. The divine Miss B seeks to clone them in her image as she indoctrinates them in a wide range of topics including, the joy of sex, the glories of art and fascism, and the grandeur of adventure. But young girls become young women, friendships fracture, and soon betrayal and downfall loom. The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie  asks, “How much power do teachers have over the lives of their students?”
