Honors College Affiliated Student Organizations

Currently, three student organizations are affiliated with the Honors College. Affiliation with the Honors College means that all executive members of these organizations are in good standing with the Honors College. Below is a brief description of each of these organizations; for more information about each please visit these organization's web sites by clicking on the name of the organization:

Honors College Student Council (HCSC)

HCSC promotes the interests and welfare of the LSU Honors College, to provides social, cultural and, educational opportunities for the students of the Honors College, maintains a forum for the discussion of issues and concerns vital to the students of the Honors College, and to represents those concerns to the campus and community. Anyone who is enrolled in the Honors College is a member of the Honors College Student Council, but active membership is required to hold an office.

Honors College Advocates

"The Advocates" recruit academically motivated high schools students, assist incoming freshmen with the transition to college life, and promote the Honors College and its services.

Fusion

The Fusion Review is the Louisiana State University Honors College Literary Magazine.  As an organization Fusion promotes the arts in all forms. To do so, Fusion hosts poetry slams and annually produces a publication of student's original work including creative writing, essays, and art.
