Applying for Honors Housing
The Honors Residential College is located in East Laville and Acadian Halls. The Honors Residential College was created on the belief that a student's residential experience is a primary and integral component of an Honors education. Thus, it is recommended, but not required, that Honors College students reside in the Laville/Acadian Honors House. To reside in the Laville/Acadian Honors House, students must be enrolled in the Honors College. If you are interested in a tour of the Laville/Acadian Honors House or for more information, call the Department of Residential Life, 225/578-8663.
**For the Fall of 2009**
The Department of Residential Life will
accept housing applications online beginning June 2008 for the 2009-2010 school
year. Admitted honors students receive priority assignment in Honors House if
they apply for housing by March 8, indicating their first preference as
Laville/Acadian Honors House. For advice on making your housing request, please contact
the Department of Residential Life.
If you have already submitted your housing application, you may call the Department of Residential Life (225/578-8663) to change your hall preference to East Laville or Acadian.
