LASAL Admission

Admission requirements for LASAL Scholars.

To apply to be a LASAL Scholar:

 

Please send a letter of application to Dr. Granger Babcock, 202 French House, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA 70803. Your application letter should include the following:

  1. A personal statement (400-600 words) indicating why you want to be a LASAL Scholar.

  2. A resume outlining your service and leaderships experiences and activities.

  3. At least one letter of recommendation that specifically addresses your community service and leadership experience. 

Please remember, you must be admitted to the Honors College before you can apply to be a LASAL Scholar. After we receive your application materials, we will contact you to schedule a personal interview. Final selections will be made on the strength of the personal interview and application materials.
