Honors College Shared Read author Luis Urrea will discuss The Devil's Highway, which was a Pulitzer Prize Finalist for General Non-fiction in 2005. This moderated discussion will be a chance for students to ask Urrea questions about his life and work as a writer of fiction and non-fiction.
Luis Alberto Urrea is the author of 14 books, which represent a variety of genres, including non-fiction, poetry, the short story, and the novel. The Hummingbird's Daughter, his most recent novel, has just been optioned by director Luis Mandoki for a film in which Antonio Banderas will star.
