Whether you are nearing graduation or in your first year, whether you are applying to graduate school or have just started exploring internships, you should attend this presentation. Emily Stich, a certified business protocol expert, will give you a guide to the basic rules of professional etiquette. Topics will include:
-tips for networking
-interview manners
-appropriate and effective business correspondence (e-mail, thank you notes, cover letters)
The goal of her presentation is to give you the skills you need to feel comfortable and confident in any professional situation-- from a job interview, to a networking event, to your first day in the office-- and to ensure that you will leave a positive and lasting impression on your potential future employers. Your manners can have a huge impact on your professional success-- attending this presentation can tip the scales in your favor.
Emily Stich is the founder of The Protocol & Etiquette Institute of Baton Rouge. She has been certified as a business etiquette expert by The Protocol School of Washington. She has also worked as a vice president and lobbyist for the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry.
