In this panel, professionals working in career fields involved in social justice-- such as homeless outreach or civil rights litigation-- will discuss their careers. Panelists will talk about how they chose their careers, the training or graduate school requirements of their positions, and the rewards and challenges of their work. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions, and food will be provided.

Panelists include:

-Randy Nichols, Executive Director, Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless 

-Michelle Wydra, Director, NOLA Investigates

-Janet Simmons, Executive Director, HOPE Ministries

-Lindsay Jerrell Blouin, attorney, East Baton Rouge Office of the Public Defender

-Willie Johnson, retired education administrator, former Vice President, Baton Rouge Area Chamber
