The LSU Symphony Orchestra presents Richard Strauss's epic tone poem "Don Quixote" (Fantastic Variations on a Theme of Knightly Character, Op. 35), featuring faculty soloists Dennis Parker, Espen Lilleslatten and Elias Goldstein.

Strauss's "Don Quixote" is a musical interpretation of the eponymous novel from the Spanish Golden Age, written by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra.

The story follows the adventures of a Spanish noble, Alonso Quixano, who reads so many chivalric romances that he loses his sanity and decides to set out to revive chivalry, undo wrongs, and bring justice to the world, under the name Don Quixote de la Mancha.

OH!Pass is a partnership of the Ogden Honors College and the College of Music and Dramatic Arts, established to provide enrichment through free attendance for Ogden students to outstanding music and theatre events throughout the academic year.

For this performance, one guest ticket will be allowed.  Registrants may enter '2' in the party total field below to request a guest ticket. Limit one guest.

OH!Pass tickets may be picked up at the French House two business days leading up to the event.

Please register for tickets here.
