In this moderated discussion, professionals working in medical and healthcare fields will talk about their careers: what they do, why they do it, how they first got involved in their work, and their training and education. Panelists will explore the risks and rewards of working in medicine, offer tips on applying to graduate and medical school, and take your questions. If you are pre-med, this is the perfect opportunity to network with medical professionals, ask your questions, plus grab some free dinner!

Panelists include:

  • Dr. Charles Wood, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, radiation oncologist
  • Dr. Dhaval Adhvaryu, Baton Rouge General, general surgeon
  • Dr. Tracee Short, Baton Rouge General, general surgeon
