Need help writing your dissertation or honors thesis?
Interested in getting the Graduate School's perspective on how to plan and structure these important documents?
Want tips on the overall shape of the dissertation, on writing the introductory chapter and literature review, and on using figures and illustrations?
Learn from a pro. Dr Malcolm Richardson is not only Associate Dean of the LSU Graduate School and a past chair of the LSU English Department, but he also taught a dissertation-writing course for a number of years. The workshop will be structured so that students can ask questions, work on key skills, and take away tangible strategies to improve this crucial document.
Refreshments and food will be provided.
Mr. Michael Blandino, Honors College Director of Student Services, will also be available to answer questions.
RSVP to Chantelle Collier by February 14, 2011 @ collier@lsu edu. Put "Writing Workshop" in your subject line. Space is limited.
This event is presented by the LSU Office of Undergraduate Research & the Graduate School as part of the Undergraduate & Graduate Student Research Training Workshop Series.
