The ArtHouse Film Series continues Tuesday with the third of five classic "art" films being shown in the West Laville study this semester. Up next: An exploration of creativity and genius in a film that is 32 films in one. Legendary pianist and eccentric recluse Glenn Gould is the subject of this gorgeous and fractured musical narrative. The film interposes dramatic sequences, musical segments, documentary, and animation to capture Gould’s multifaceted life. Inspired by the structure of Bach’s Goldberg Variations, each of the 32 short films focuses on a unique and compelling aspect of Gould’s complex brilliance. Free food, plus a student-led post-film discussion.
The ArtHouse Film Series is the screening of 5 classics of art house cinema in the West LaVille residence hall. Select Tuesday Nights at 7pm. Free food!
